Odile is half-Japanese, half-Caucasian. Their hair is short and frames their face, with a longer side lock on their right side. They are most often seen with black rimmed glasses on. At school they wear a skirt and cardigan (usually beige or pink) with their uniform, and out of school they tend to lean towards Mori girl fashion staples like sweaters and long skirts. Sometimes they have a guitar bag with them. They were assigned male at birth but identify as genderfluid and transfemme. They will answer to any pronouns but they/them is preferred, both ic and ooc.

As a Dreamer, Odile's hair turns white and grows just past their shoulders, with their bangs pinned to the side. Their Dreamer outfit is a long flowy white dress heavily inspired by Princess Serenity's, and they have a pair of wings at the small of their back, as well as another pair over their ears that are part of a tiara headpiece. Their weapon is a small harp shaped like a swan.

Odile is the first born child of Odette Cygnia and Akira Inuyama, two individuals well known within the Dreamer Union. Odette, also known as Dreamer Swan, was one of the founders of the Union, and did much of the legwork to earn its government funding. She mentored there for over a decade and had a very public image, not just as a well known Dreamer but also as a philanthropist constantly giving back to the Yumemigaoka community. Akira meanwhile was Odette's childhood sweetheart and supported her efforts with the Union, eventually becoming a teacher at Promised Morning Academy, still teaching there to this day.

However one day Odette suddenly lost all of her Dreamer powers. Neither she or her husband would elaborate on why they might be gone, and she ended up withdrawing from the Union and the public eye entirely. It did not take long for people to realize why she did so though: Odette was pregnant.

For a while Odile was raised as separately from Odette's Dreamer life as possible, growing up just outside of the city and being homeschooled for most of their early years. They developed their love of their music from their father, were allowed and encouraged to wear dresses when expressing interest to their mother, and basically have a practically picture perfect loving childhood. Eventually they found out about Dreamer Swan though and asked to hear more from their mother. Odette finally relented and told them many stories of her time as a Dreamer and the Dreamsphere. Odile loved these stories and idolized their mother even more than before, wanting anything to be a Dreamer just like her one day.

As they grew though they started to hear the rumours: the rumours that Odile might be the reason Odette lost her powers. This weighed on Odile heavily; Odette had been so happy and proud as Dreamer Swan, after originally having come from an abusive family and finding a purpose in the Dreamsphere and a home in Yumemigaoka. What if they really had stolen her powers somehow? What if Odette resented losing her powers?

The sudden, unexpected arrival of Odile's little sister didn't exactly help matters either, as now Odile was no longer the sole receiver of their parents' attention. They started to withdraw more, and eventually gave up hope on ever awakening as a Dreamer.

As a teenager, Odile started to attend school in Yumemigaoka, only using their father's surname to avoid any unwanted attention and questions (though of course, anyone who knows Odette OR Akira can tell right away who Odile is). Commuting from their home turned out to be difficult, as it left little time for after school activities, so in their second year of high school Odile convinced their parents to let them move out on their own into the city. They are now doing their best to be independent and study hard (with their parents' support of course).
